Valentines Slime UK Ingredients

We’ve been playing and adapted our slime for Valentine’s Day – what says I love you more than… Slime!

We played around with the recipe a bit and tested them out. We made one Slime which was more like a silly putty. The second was super stretchy and Freya and Seb preferred this stretching it across the room…

Recipe 1: firmer silly putty slime

Ingredients:

Method:
For each 1 cup of PVA glue that you use you will need 1 tablespoon of bicarbonate of soda.

Add gel colour.

Mix these together in a bowl.

Add desired amount of glitter – you can always add more later 🙂

Next you need to add the contact lens solution – we add about a tablespoon at a time.

Mix well and then add another tablespoon.

Repeat this until the desired slime is achieved.

It will start to come together in a lump on the spoon.  If you then touch it with your finger to test if it is sticky.  If it is – add some more contact lens solution.

Now you are ready to play!!

Recipe 2: Super Stretchy Slime

This recipe is almost identical to the recipe above but includes water and makes it more stretchy.

Ingredients:

Method:
For each 1 cup of PVA glue that you use you will need 1 tablespoon of bicarbonate of soda and 1/4 cup of warm water.
